I am based at Botany Birthing Unit as part of the Botany Caseloading team. I’m from the UK and I moved to New Zealand in 2022. I qualified as a midwife in 2016 and have predominantly worked as a home birth midwife since then.

I have always been hugely passionate about protecting birth as a physiological process and in supporting women to trust in their own abilities to birth naturally. I am passionate about promoting the home environment and primary care centres as being safe and viable birth place options for healthy women. I really enjoy working in a way that I can provide continuity, so that I can get to know you and your family from the start of your pregnancy and throughout your whole pregnancy journey.

You might meet some of the other midwives that also work for the Botany Caseloading team throughout your pregnancy, who can provide back up for me on my days off.
