Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a local Waiheke midwife, who grew up on the island. I trained in rural/remote North Queensland and hold midwifery & nursing registrations in both Australia and New Zealand.

I will support you to birth in any environment you choose. I'm passionate about home-birth and my own children were born on Waiheke. I believe in empowering birthing women/whānau to know their strength, advocating for bodily autonomy and true informed consent. I am respectful of kaupapa and tikanga Māori during whānautanga. I support LGBTQIA+ birthing women/whānau.

I have a background in science and focus on providing safe, evidenced-based care. I currently share the island caseload with partner midwife, Iessa Clarke. We are backed up by long-standing island midwife, Linda Hodson.

I provide midwifery care to Waiheke Island residents ONLY. I attend home births and also have access agreements with BirthCare Auckland and Auckland City Hospital for birthing.
