Hello and congratulations! I have worked as a midwife in a variety of settings since 2006, leaving only briefly to focus on my own family. I see my role as a midwife as being an information provider, providing women with the information they need to make informed decisions around their care. I provide care from pregnancy right through until baby is born and then work closely with another midwife to ensure your postnatal needs are being met. I support women to birth in their chosen place whether home, birthing unit or tertiary hospital. My philosophy is that birth is a normal physiological process, ''normal'' being defined by the woman, and with that in mind we work together to ensure a positive, supportive and empowering journey into parenthood.

I work predominantly on the east side of town with clinic in Aranui. Labour and birth are in your chosen place and we provide postnatal care in the comfort of your home. Please don't hesitate to call so I can answer any questions you may have

I am based on the East side of Christchurch where I have a clinic every Tuesday during school hours for routine pregnancy appointments. Labour and birth is in your chosen place and after baby is born you will be seen at home. Urgent appointments are held wherever is most appropriate for the situation.
