Bonnielee Bell
About me
Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Bonnielee Bell and I am a Māori self-employed midwife who descends from Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Maniapoto.
My philosophy is birth is a normal, natural occurring event and therefore provide a focus on PRIMARY care for women who have an uncomplicated pregnancy, labour and birth and wish to birth at Ngahau Birthing Unit. As a midwife I only provide service for whānau who reside in South Auckland (North of Manukau). Whilst caring for you throughout your pregnancy, my role is to provide continuity of care from the time we register together, and be there to support you for your labour and birth. Throughout this time, together we will work in partnership and I will support and educate you to be an active participant in your journey.
If you're interested please send through an email enquiry and I'll be in touch as soon as possible. My clinic is held on Wednesdays at 26a Hoteo Avenue, Papatoetoe and my back-up partner is Dena Black.
