Congratulations on your pregnancy. I qualified as a midwife in the UK in 1997. I have been working as an LMC in Tauranga since 2004. My personal philosophy is that pregnancy and birth is a natural process that progresses without complication most of the time but recognise we must be vigilant for those things that might affect this. I see my role as one of partnership with mothers to support that process and to promote informed choice and personal responsibility.

I work across the full scope of midwifery practice supporting mothers to birth at home, hospital or at Bethlehem birth Centre.
