My name is Madeline and I am a registered midwife working in Christchurch.

I am passionate about supporting women and their whānau during this amazing chapter in life. My role is to support you through your pregnancy, attend your labour and birth, then see you and your baby at home for 4-6 weeks afterwards. During this time we will work in partnership to prepare you for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and parenthood.

I am an openminded, easy-going person. And I love my job! My philosophy is that pregnancy and birth are a normal life event, therefore, I support primary based birth and homebirth. I also support birth at Christchurch Women’s Hospital when required.
