My name is Rachael, I am an LMC midwife working within the Christchurch and Selwyn region. I am passionate about women's health and the true life event of pregnancy and childbirth. I provide continuity of care throughout pregnancy, labour and birth, and up to 6 weeks postpartum. I actively promote the partnership between woman-midwife and protect informed decision making for the health and wellbeing of yourself, your baby and your family. Although pregnancy, labour and birth are all normal life events, I acknowledge that sometimes, things aren't always straightforward. Therefore, I provide both holistic or complex care where indicated. I support women to birth in a birthing unit such as Rolleston Maternity or for complex care: Christchurch Women's Hospital. My clinic currently is on a Tuesday in Christchurch or Wednesday morning in Rolleston. I look forward to working with you!
