Hi, and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Rainy, and I’m originally from China. With 15 years of midwifery working experience in both New Zealand and China, I have had the privilege of working with women and their families from various ethnic backgrounds.

My approach to midwifery emphasises empowerment, informed choices, and cultural support. I am passionate about working in partnership with women and their families to provide flexible, individualised care that meets their unique needs and preferences.

Throughout my career, I have seen the importance of creating a positive and nurturing environment for childbirth. I am dedicated to promoting positive birth experiences and ensuring that each woman feels confident and empowered in her choices.

I have a small caseload (average 4-5 per month) to maintain safe practice and ensure quality care for each woman.
