Kia Ora and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Rosa and I'm a registered midwife working with Ōtautahi Midwives. I am a gentle and calm midwife with a strong belief in the innate ability of a woman's body to birth her baby. I believe in reducing unnecessary interventions but can support complex care when needed. Working with women is such a privilege and I truly love my job.

I will provide care to you and your baby throughout your pregnancy until 6 weeks postpartum, forming a partnership with you along the way. I recognise that you and your pregnancy are unique and therefore provide care suited to you and your whānau's needs. I also take a small caseload so I can provide quality care. Informed choice is also paramount throughout this journey and I will be able to provide up to date information with you.

When I'm not working I love going for walks, yoga, camping and hanging out with my border collie.

I have two clinics on Halswell Rd and on Manchester St.

I am currently getting ready to have a baby of my own so am unavailable for 2025 If you are a return client and it says I’m unavailable please make contact regardless and we can see if we can sort something out or I can help you make contact with another midwife :)
