Sam Rhodes

You’re amazing! You’re growing a little human. Arguably THE most important job of your life.

I'm Sam, a midwife originally from Yorkshire in the UK, with 3 grown up children of my own.

As your midwife I will:

- Walk alongside you

- Guide and support you

- Educate and inform you

- Focus on the normality of pregnancy and birth

- Recognise and refer you to the best specialists if your journey strays from normal

- Use up to date technology giving you quick access to your notes and information

- Support your transition to parenthood

- Link you with your chosen Well Child Provider once our journey ends

- Listen to you!

I support mums at home births, the birthing unit and hospital. I support mums having a repeat caesarean and tailor care to your wishes as much as possible.

I work with three other midwives; Carla Cederman, Lisa Kennedy and Hannah Brahne. We support each other and our clients.

Please contact me via the enquiry form or by email at samrhodesmidwife@gmail.com. To complete a booking form, go to www.samrhodesmidwife.com however, this does not guarantee a booking. I have Wednesday and Thursdays off every week and my partner Michelle cares for my clients at that time. You'll meet Michelle, my midwifery partner during your pregnancy. Her website is www.michellerobinsonmidwife.co.nz I have a clinic in Papamoa, covering Mount, Papamoa, Te Puke, and Maketu areas.
