I’m Tania (she/her) and prior to becoming a registered midwife I was a Teacher of the Deaf here in Christchurch. I also taught antenatal classes at both Lincoln and Christchurch Women’s Hospitals for 11 years, finishing that work in 2016.

I believe that when you are fully informed you are able to make the choices that best suit your journey which in turn will enable you to take the lead in your own care, birth and parenting.

I will support you to birth at home, Oromairaki/Selwyn Hub or at Christchurch Women’s Hospital.

Antenatal appointments are held at the midwifery rooms at Halswell Village Midwives by appointment.

I provide home visit postnatal care for both you and your baby for up to 6 weeks after your birth.

I work closely with my practice partner Kelly Osborn and the other midwives at Halswell Village.
