Congratulations on your pregnancy! It is a privilege to have shared this journey with many families for nearly 20 years. I am a registered midwife, nurse & lactation consultant & aim to provide you with a positive experience from conception to 6 weeks postpartum. I individualise my care to you, and have a strong emphasis on physical AND emotional safety. You know yourself best & having the right person to help navigate your options, ensure you are fully informed and supported sensitively, honestly and respectfully is my highest priority. I am a mother & have navigated some challenging & rewarding life stages over the years. I have good working relationships & 24/7 midwifery backup (a legal requirement). I have excellent interpersonal skills & work collaboratively with our obstetric colleagues, paediatricians, GPs, pelvic floor physios etc….most of the time all is well and it’s just us, & sometimes ‘It takes a village.’
