Louise Ogle
About me
Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy.
I’m Louise Ogle, a māmā of three. I believe pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period to be a normal life event which should result in empowerment for every wāhine/birthing person. I believe that the partnership between wāhine/birthing person, whānau and the midwife includes mutual respect, trust and communication.
I have a passion in supporting people through their journeys into parenthood to achieve their natural potential and the different aspects of that.
I utilise a range of midwifery skills to support you and your whānau, with your choices and beliefs, advocate for the choices that you make, treating you as an individual, providing care that empowers you, and is safe.
I support home birth, and primary unit birthing, I am also able to provide more complex care alongside core staff at Christchurch Women’s Hospital when medically indicated. I provide care from pregnancy through labour and birth, up to 6 weeks after baby is born.
If you would like me to be your midwife please either fill out the form below or send me a text during business hours on 022 6571698.
