Hello and congratulations! I am an LMC midwife providing 24 hour midwifery care in Christchurch and the Selwyn District during pregnancy, labour and birth and up to 6 weeks postnatally. I work in a well-established practice with 3 other experienced midwives who share a similar philosophy and passion for working with women and their families during an important and life-changing period. Before discovering my passion for midwifery I studied reproduction, genetics and foetal development at Otago University. I have 2 young children, born in 2019 and 2021. Both were premature babies, and spent time in the Neonatal Unit following their arrivals.

I work closely with my back up midwife Jen Ward, and we are each on call for half of the week, allowing both dedicated time for our young families, and time to sustainably support women throughout their childbirth journey whether they wish to birth at home, Oromairaki Maternity Unit in Rolleston, or Christchurch Women’s should the need arise
