Hi my name is Lucia, and congratulations on your pregnancy. I am the mother of three young children and I love my job as a midwife, supporting women to become mothers. I provide care throughout your pregnancy, labour and birth, and up to six weeks after your baby is born.

I focus on supporting normal physiological labour and birth, which I believe your body is absolutely designed to do. I work with women to break down fear and anxiety to confidently embrace this powerful experience.

Birth location is your choice of home, birthing unit, or hospital if needed. I work with Danu Midwives who are a very dedicated, caring team of midwives. We provide up to date information so that you can make the right choices for your birth and feel prepared for the magical time of birth and becoming parents. I look forward to sharing this special journey with you.

My clinic is in New Brighton or I can do home visits if needed on the east side of Christchurch.
