I'm Lisa, I am a community-based midwife with Shoreline Midwives. I am Mum to 2 awesome teens. I believe pregnancy and childbirth are significant journeys for women and whānau, each individual and unique. I work to provide individualised evidence-based care with open discussions and information sharing. I work with wāhine to encourage and facilitate the involvement of pāpā and whānau during pregnancy, as guided by you. I have a particular interest and enjoy supporting rangatahi/young parents during their maternity journey.

Postnatal care is provided in your home, for 4-6 weeks by myself & midwife Coral Moir. I provide 24/7 emergency care and work alongside the hospital and medical teams as needed.

I support women to birth at home, Rangiora, Kurawaka: Waipapa and Oromairaki Maternity Units, as well as Christchurch Women's Hospital for both high risk pregnancies and maternal request. I support water birth and am epidural certified.

I hold antenatal clinics at both Marshlands Rd, Shirley (Mondays and Thursdays) and Rangiora Hospital (Fridays). I look forward to hearing from you.
