I am a māmā of three tamariki, living in New Brighton, Ōtautahi.

Outside of midwifery, I am passionate about kapa haka and sports, especially softball and league. Now, as a Kahu Pōkai Māori, I am privileged to provide care to whānau in Ōtautahi.

My heart lies in building strong relationships and walking alongside whānau as they navigate this life-changing journey. I offer care that is not only safe and empowering but also deeply rooted in aroha, manaakitanga, and whānau support. I embrace the principles of Te Whare Tapa Whā, ensuring my care nurtures taha wairua, taha tinana, taha hinengaro, and taha whānau, all grounded in te taha whenua. Using these tools allow me to provide holistic care that strengthens and uplifts every aspect of whānau well-being.

My commitment is to ensure that every whānau I work with feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their hapūtanga journey. While I am passionate about protecting and encouraging physiological birth, the safety and well-being of you and your pēpi will always be my top priority.

Therefore, I support home, hospital, and primary birthing care. I work alongside three other Māori midwives as part of Ōhua Midwives, a practice dedicated to culturally safe, whānau-centred maternity care.
