Kia ora, my name’s Elena, and I’m a midwife based in Ōtautahi/Christchurch. I provide midwifery care from early pregnancy through to labour, birth, and the first six weeks postpartum.

My focus is on building a trusting relationship with women and whānau, ensuring you feel supported, valued, and empowered. My goal is to provide you with the tools and confidence to make informed choices as you navigate this next chapter of your life.

Guided by a woman-centred philosophy, I prioritise the unique needs of each woman, baby, and whānau, ensuring care is individualised, compassionate, and evidence-based. My aim is for you to feel empowered and at peace with your birth experience.

I support births wherever you feel most comfortable—at home, in a primary birthing unit, or in a hospital.

I work within Garden City Midwives, a supportive and well-established practice of experienced midwives. My clinics are on Wednesday afternoons on Manchester Street, but I can be flexible if needed.
