Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy. I am a midwife working in the Christchurch area and have the privilege of working with women and their families at this significant time. My husband and I have 5 children which has helped me understand how wonderful support and individualised care from a midwife makes such a difference, whether this is your first baby or later in your family. I work in a supportive midwifery practice called ‘Your Choice Midwives’ and provide care whether you are birthing at home, a primary birthing unit as well as Christchurch Women’s Hospital. I provide full midwifery care throughout pregnancy, labour, and birth and up to 6 weeks following the birth of your baby. I have antenatal clinic available in the city centre as well as Marshland.
