Congratulations on your pregnancy! It’s a special time in your life as you prepare to welcome a new baby in to your family. I have four beautiful children and understand that every woman’s childbirth journey is unique. I provide full midwifery care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and up to six weeks postnatally. I am based in Rangiora and focus on North Canterbury; Waimakariri & Hurunui districts. I believe that childbirth is a normal physiological process that requires a supportive environment, trusting relationships, and shared knowledge through a strong woman/midwife partnership. I support women to birth at home, in a primary birthing unit, or at Christchurch Women’s Hospital when it is identified to be the safest place for the individual. I am also epidural certified if the need arises. I work together with the fabulous midwives from ‘Your Choice Midwives’ to ensure continuity of care and a shared philosophy that enables the woman to be at the centre of care.
