Hello, and congratulations on your pregnancy. I live in North Canterbury with my husband and two children. Previously, I worked as a Registered Nurse both in the hospital and the community. I now feel privileged to work as a Midwife supporting families as they journey to parenthood. My philosophy is that birth is a normal life event, and consider my role in this journey is to work in partnership with you to provide individualised and safe care. My aim is to empower you to make informed decisions that will suit you and your family. I provide care through pregnancy, birth, and up to six weeks postnatally. I support your choice to birth at home, a primary birthing unit or at Christchurch Women’s Hospital. I work within a supportive and experienced practice of midwives called ‘Your Choice Midwives’. All the midwives at Your Choice Midwives are epidural certified. I offer midwifery care throughout North Canterbury and North Christchurch.
