About me
Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy!
I’m Georgia, a Lead Maternity Care (LMC) midwife working in the North Canterbury region. My partner and I moved to the area 3 years ago and have enjoyed getting to know Ōtautahi as our new home. We like to venture off grid when we can, drink good coffee, eat great food, and plan to do all of this overseas when life allows!
I work in a large, supportive practice, and alternate weekends off-call with my practice partner Jin McRobbie.
I value Aotearoa’s continuity of care model, therefore I provide full antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal care to you and your whānau. I strongly believe in providing comprehensive, evidence-based information to support you and your family to make informed choices along the way, ensuring you can look back on your journey feeling safe, empowered and respected throughout. I hold my antenatal clinic at the Rangiora Health Hub, and visit you at home for 5-6 weeks following the birth of your newest addition.
If I sound like the midwife for you, please don’t hesitate to get in contact to arrange a time to meet. You can do this by sending an online form below and I will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
