Hello, I’m Ri. I live in North Canterbury with my husband, our two wonderful children, and our beloved furbaby. My journey into midwifery began with the birth of my own children and a deep passion for women's health. As a Lead Maternity Care midwife, I feel privileged to walk alongside whānau during their maternity journey, providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs.

I believe in building meaningful relationships, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make the choices that are right for you. My goal is to help you feel confident and well-informed throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

I hold clinics at Rangiora Maternity on Mondays and Cranford Street on Wednesday mornings, providing midwifery care throughout North Canterbury and North Christchurch. I work within the supportive and well experienced team at Your Choice Midwives.

Continuity of care is at the heart of my practice - I support you throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and up to six weeks after baby is born. Whether you choose to birth at home, Rangiora Hospital, Kurawaka Waipapa, or Christchurch Women’s Hospital, I am here to support you in a setting where you feel safe and comfortable.
